1. Cancellation Policy

Please be advised that cancellations made via email, text, phonecall, or using the link on your booking email up to 24 hours before a scheduled appointment will be processed without a penalty. Please notify us at hello@covecornwall.co.uk whether you wish to transfer your booking or receive a refund.

Cancellations made 24 hours or less before an appointment will be subject to a charge of up to the full booking price. This includes appointments where the client is a no-show.

If Cove Mind & Body cancels an appointment with less than 24 hours notice, the client’s booking will be transferred without penalty to the client, or, the client will be issued a credit to the equivalent value, or the client will be issued a refund.

By participating in any fitness class, exercise program, 1:1 session, sports massage, or other physical activity you are acknowledging that you understand and agree to the following.

I understand that an examination by a physician should be obtained prior to commencing a fitness, nutrition, exercise program or any combination of these activities. If I have chosen not to obtain a physician’s consent prior to beginning any program, class, 1:1, or course, I hereby expressly acknowledge that I am doing so solely at my own risk.

I understand that any exercise program, whether or not requiring the use of exercise equipment, is a potentially hazardous activity and involves a risk of injury, including musculoskeletal injury, abnormal changes in blood pressure, fainting, and a remote risk of heart attack, stroke, other serious disability or death. I am voluntarily participating in these activities with full knowledge, understanding and appreciation of the dangers involved. I hereby agree to expressly assume and accept any and all risks of injury, regardless of severity, or death.

I agree to Cove Mind & Body and its employees, agents, contractors, and associates to train and instruct me. I release the above of all claims, demands, damages, rights of action or causes of action, present or future, arising out of or connected with my participation in any program offered. This release includes any injuries resulting from any instruction given, including remote supervision. I understand that Cove Mind & Body and its associates will not be responsible for any costs associated with any injury I may sustain.

It is my express intent that this Agreement binds the members of my family (including, but not limited to, any spouse and children), so that it will be deemed as a full release, waiver, discharge and covenant not to sue by my relatives and my estate. 

3. Course and Block Terms & Conditions

A course or block is a series of related sessions or classes.

By purchasing a course or block, you are agreeing to the below Terms & Conditions.

Purchasing a block

You must be aged 18+ to purchase a course or block unless otherwise stated in the course or block description. Young people aged 16-18 may be able to attend courses or blocks when accompanied by a responsible adult. Please contact hello@covecornwall.co.uk to enquire.

Blocks and courses must be purchased via our website to ensure enrollment and paid for by credit or debit card using Stripe or Paypal. The full amount of the course is due upon booking.

You only need to book once, onto the first class of your block. You will be added to each related session in the block automatically.

Using your block

After purchasing a course or block, you will be added to each relevant session. Please attend as many sessions as you are able. Unfortunately, you will not be entitled to any refund for classes missed due to sickness, holiday, or other absence. No classes, time or monetary value will be carried over into future courses or blocks.

You may be able to temporarily switch into a different class that week subject to availability. Please contact via email to arrange.

Course and block fees are non-transferable. Your block is for personal use only and cannot be transferred or shared with anyone else.

Cancelling or deferring a course or block

You may defer your enrollment to the next instance of the same course or block subject to availability without penalty or additional fee.

If you would like to cancel your course or block before the date of the first session please contact us to arrange a refund. Cancellations made more than 14 days prior to the first session will receieve a full refund. Cancellations made less than 14 days before the first session will incur a £10.00 admin fee.

If you would like to cancel your course or block after the date of the first session please contact us to discuss. Partial refunds may be offered in extenuating circumstances at the discretion of Cove Mind & Body to reflect the amount of time and work that has already gone into preparing and delivering the course or block.

Cove Mind & Body reserves the right to cancel, update, and make changes to the terms, courses, and/or blocks at any time.

Studio Closures & Cancelled Classes

Courses and blocks are planned to exclude dates of planned studio closure (e.g. instructor holiday or planned studio maintenance). Please make a note of your course or block dates when you book.

For unforeseen studio closures (e.g. instructor sickness or unforeseen circumstances) Cove Mind & Body will contact you by email with as much notice as we are able to provide. Your instructor will arrange to add a new date to ‘catch up’ the cancelled session or offer information regarding partial refunds, credits for the next block or other solutions, depending on how your block or course is affected by the closure.

E.g. independent instructors who offer classes at Cove Mind & Body.
